The F-16 and Proven Aircraft TCG Worldwide Review is now over for 2014. I don’t have any attendance numbers of this year’s conference but from those who have attended annually over the past ten plus years, I understand last week’s event was very well attended both nationally and internationally.

Chris Ott demonstrating the ARTES with the APG-66 TransmitterDuotech had four representatives present to meet new attendees, strengthen existing connections, and introduce our company through the briefings. We enjoyed the opportunity to inform attendees of our mission to Outpace Obsolescence. We also had the ARTES (Automated Reconfigurable Test and Emulation System) on hand connected to both an APG-66 transmitter and a CADC to demonstrate how the ARTES can switch between testing many different assembly applications quickly.

It’s always good to meet current customers face-to-face and to speak with prospective future customers. The TCG World Wide Review provided both opportunities as well as the chance to meet up with other colleagues in the industry to discuss the state of our work and where things may be headed. There were a lot of operators that were very interested in what we are doing over here in Franklin, NC and interested in what the ARTES can provide to their fleet. I left this years show feeling good about where Duotech stands in the world of F-16 and F-5 service and repair.

Between our booth where the ARTES was demonstrated and our taking part in both the F-16 and Proven Aircraft Briefings I believe the conference offered us many opportunities to educate attendees how we offer military and civilian agencies the option not to scrap their obsolete equipment. I got to meet many new people and learn about other industry businesses which was a positive education for me. I thought the event was well organized and the board responsible for putting it together did a very good job preparing for the amount of people who attended.

Ogden, Utah, TCG Worldwide Review
Ogden, Utah is a beautiful city. Located in the Western North Carolina we are used to seeing mountains everyday that are covered in evergreens and hardwoods. It was refreshing to see the tall rocky mountain range that parallels Ogden as we went about our work week. Couple that with the clean city streets, friendly atmosphere and its proximity to Hill Air Force Base, Ogden is of course a perfect location to host this conference. I look forward to my return to it in 2015.
