Four future engineers will end their summer intern season with Duotech over the next two weeks and return back to school. Two of the interns are attending the engineering school at Western Carolina University and the other two Cedarville University’s engineering school.

Gold Star Teens are again this week in WNC/Franklin taking part in their annual summer leadership course. Gold Star Teen Adventures provides unique summer adventure opportunities for Gold Star Youth.

Students from Rabun Gap Nacoochee School, a private, coeducational day and boarding school located in Rabun Gap, GA, visited Duotech Services, LLC on Tuesday, March 18 to tour the DSI facilities. Fifteen students from the science classes at Rabun Gap, located in Dillard, GA, attended to receive a personal, in-depth experience on how Duotech supports aerospace and defense industries around the world.

The Greatest Generation –Tom Brokaw coined the phrase to identify a generation of Americans who grew up during the Great Depression and saved the world in WWII, by fighting the Nazis or Japanese, and whose productivity created the materials on the home front that contributed to the war effort.

Always moving forward, improving technology to increase their advantage on the battlefield, the U.S. Military often releases requests for proposals to competitively seek companies that can upgrade their communications, electronics, weapons systems, aircraft, and more. The U.S. Army has recently requested a replacement for their current rotary-wing aircraft radios, the ARC-201D.

On September 2, 2015, Congressman Mark Meadows, U.S. Representative for the 11th District of North Carolina, visited Duotech Services while in the Franklin, NC area. He was joined by Macon County Commissioner, Jim Tate, and Economic Development Director of Macon County, Tommy Jenkins.

Our latest video is of Brett Rogers, VP at Duotech, who introduces Duotech’s focus for this year’s F-16 TCG Worldwide Review in Ogden, UT. Duotech will be in Booths 150, 151, and 152.

Gold Star Teen Adventures returned to Western North Carolina on June 18 for the Alumni Outdoor Leadership Adventure. Comprised of teens and mentors who attended last year’s Adventure Leadership Outdoor Camp, the group arrived Thursday night to Franklin, NC and began the preparation for this week long adventure.

Memorial Day weekend is referred to as the beginning of Summer; enjoying camping trips, attending concerts, having family picnics, going to baseball games, and heading to the beach.

Duotech provides engineering, test planning, repair, and other technical services to the military and commercial users of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. Services also extend to software development, machining, and fabrication.
